Black Rapid’s Lensbling on the scene

The Pillar Product Design team just finished designing a complete set of lens covers for both Nikon and Canon for Black Rapid latest release the Lensbling brand. This set of caps and covers handles all the major sizes and models of camera lens for both Nikon and Canon. 3D modeling in Solid Works 2013 and scaling these caps accordingly was a challenge since Black rapid wanted this to be (3) color tri injection molded shot. Finishing out 2012.

The Pillar Product Design team would like to thank everyone we worked with, on having such a successful year. Culti-Sifter Urban Garden Tool on Kickstarter

Pillar Product Design  of Seattle WA recently assisted CultiSifter in the development of a new urban ergonomic garden tool that will soon be released to the market. The CultiSifter team husband and wife duo has put there product on Kickstarter to get support in further developing this product for manufacturing. The product was recently premiered by Solid Concepts web site as well as used as a 3D solidworks complex surfacing example of the types and complexity of builds. Flow Bindings New Active Strap Technology wins Snowboarder Magazine’s Platinum Awards

The New Active Strap binding technology known as NX-2 GT NASTY recently won the Snowboarders Magazine platinum product awards. The Pillar Product Design team worked with with the Flow team for nearly 2 years developing and performing mechanical engineering services on this new binding technology.
